If you notice that you have added an item in the app, but it does not confirm that it is recall free, there may be a few reasons: 

  1. The item is in a category that we don't monitor for recalls. 

  2. The brand and model number weren't specifically found by our process. 

  3. We identified the item using the series rather than a specific model number. 

In all cases, we need an exact model number in order to check an item for recalls.  We may be able to find manuals and other information based on a serial name or a partial match, but for recall monitoring, we rely on exact model numbers to make a match.  If you think that the item in question should be monitored or if you have other questions, please don't hesitate to reach out to us at support@poweredbycentriq.com.
