Centriq for Professionals

Centriq offers a pro version which is available home inspectors, property managers, realtors, and real estate professionals where they pay a fee to include their own branding in the app and interact with their clients.  You can find more about this here.

Partnerships and API

Centriq also has a number of partners who link to Centriq via API to provide our product information in their own apps to their own clients. As we partner with more services, they may offer Centriq for a lower fee or included in their subscription costs.

Centriq Premium for Consumers/Homeowners

Centriq offers premium plans where general users can also upgrade to add more items into the app. We had a great 5 year run of being able to offer a completely free consumer app, however, hosting users and providing content for unlimited items in the app is very costly. Also, if we have an unlimited free app, there’s no financial incentive for partners to include Centriq in their subscriptions.

Given this, having users pay for the app is not how we earn revenue. This was a business decision to both allow partnerships and to allow consumers to get the app directly. Our only other option would have been to discontinue the consumer app. We decided instead to offer users the chance to pay for their usage so that they can keep using it.

If you choose not to upgrade, your account will stay the same as it is, you simply won't be able to add more items to your account.

You can also contact us to receive a report of the items that are currently in your account.

With any of our plans, paid or free, you can still use the app to add photos, videos, documents, receipts, and notes. Centriq can still be your one place for everything, we will just not be able to find product information for you without an upgraded plan.

Parts and Supplies

The other way we currently generate revenue is by making it easy for users to order replacement parts and supplies. When you order parts through the app we are paid a small referral fee. This does not result in any additional cost to you... you pay the exact amount as if you had searched for the items yourself. This is not a particularly lucrative revenue stream and does not cover the costs of hosting you as a user, but it's a small extra boost to raise our bottom line.
