Add by product label photo

A product label, also called a product identification label or nameplate, is the label all manufacturers must affix, by law, to convey the make, model, serial number and safety certificate of an item. Everything with an on-switch has one.

Centriq makes it easy to add your items by allowing you to take a photo of the product label, submit it in the app, and we do the rest.  Make sure that the label you submit clearly shows the model number and the serial number, if there is one.  We will transcribe the model and serial numbers and provide as much information about the item as we can.  Learn more.

Add by typing manually

If you need to manually enter the manufacturer and model number for items, you can click the large black plus button, select the button to "Type Manually", and type the information in the fields.  Learn more.

Add by email

If you order items online, you can forward your **any email which meets the criterial below to add@mycentriq.com and have the products listed in that email added to your account.  In order for Centriq to successfully add your products:

  • Send the email from the email address used to create your Centriq account.
  • Make sure that the email contains the brand and model of the product(s) you want to add.  For example, Amazon purchase confirmations do not include the model number, but sometimes the followup emails do.
  • Note, it does not need to be a purchase confirmation

** Note, the email does not need to be an official purchase confirmation.  You can email anything that contains the brand and model and that is sent from your Centriq account email address. So, you can send a photo of a nameplate, a photo of product packaging, just brand and model written out, a picture of the cover of the manual, or a picture of a physical receipt, etc.
